Do you get reminded often you are an only child?
I remembered wanting to be the only child. My siblings are 5.5 and 6.5 years younger than me. The two younger ones don't actually get on with each other, fighting for attention from all of us.
I am considering keeping my first child as the only child. She is only two and I wouldn't like her to have a sibling with an age gap as big as the one I have with mine. This is difficult, having to make the decision, but I think an only child can benefit more from his or her parents or carers. Whether only children were only children they can still make life long friends. And siblings don't necessarily love and care about each other.

Spoiled Sometimes

I know it's been ages since I wrote this but yes I do get reminded ALL the time I'm an only child. From my friends, to my family sometimes my mood, or actions are instantly attached to being an only-child even when they are just simply me being me. I think sometimes it's overplayed but I'll be honest and there are times I've used it as a crutch. I started this blog to try and get away from that.
